Mini DTS
Discipleship Training School for Teenagers

¡You are not too young for missions!
If you are 13 to 15 years old, you want to know God and make him known, the Mini Discipleship Training School (DTS) is for you. It is 2,5 weeks of growth and adventure with God together with other young people who want to live a passionate life for the Lord.
The Mini DTS is a full-time program divided in two parts:
1) A Lecture Phase: Nine days at the YWAM base in Nicoya, Guanacaste. We learn fundamental truths about who God is, who we are, how God wants to relate to us and how he wants us to relate to others. We learn and grow together through teaching times, practical chores, team work, small groups, games and having lots of fun.
2) The Outreach: We travel together to serve God and the people of a Costa Rican community in need for a full week. Doing missions in practise challenges us to deepen our relationship with God even more. As we serve others, we learn more about God, about ourselves and at the same time we expand our perspective about the world around us.
After the outreach we return to YWAM Nicoya as a group for two more days to process and to close the program with a graduation.

General Information:
- The Mini DTS is bilingual (English and Spanish), it is enough if you know one of these languages.
- The program is lead by the staff of YWAM Nicoya together with an international team of volunteers.
- Price: c 150,000 ($285 USD). Including: Housing/facilities (we recommend bringing your own tent), three meals per day, transportation to the outreach location and materials.
- The participants stay and sleep with the group during the whole duration of the program.
- The students arrive to YWAM Nicoya at 3pm on January 16th. The Mini DTS finishes with graduation on February 2nd at 10am.
