Ministry to teen moms
Teenage pregnancies have been an increasing social problem in Costa Rica for many years. At the same time, pregnancy and motherhood is a special time in any woman's life when they are more sensitive to the Lord.
We run courses during and after pregnancy to train the girls with knowledge and skills for motherhood and life. Girls as young as 13 and up to 20 years of age receive help, counseling and faith to break generational cycles in their lives, learning to make good decisions and offer better future for their children.
Part of the course contents includes support for elementary, secondary and professional education as well as micro business training. Girls are also supported with donations of baby clothes and supplies.
A way to support this ministry is by donating baby clothes and supplies. We also look for short-term volunteers or long-term staff members for the daily work with these girls.
