After serving Ywam Heredia for many years, in 2005, the Silva family was sent to pioneer a new location in Guanacaste. After four months the Lord opened the doors for permanent ministry location in the village of Corral de Piedra. The ministry was started in the local and surrounding communities through kids' club, youth meetings, English teaching and soccer ministry. During the early pioneer years the Silva family were the only long-term staff, therefore the visiting teams and short-term volunteers have played a significant role in the growth and development of the ministry. Since then, little by little, God has been bringing more people with long-term commitment to join our missionary team. 2011 we purchased land to start building a permanent ministry location, a YWAM base, in Guanacaste.
